Weekly Photo Challenge: Illumination

Please forgive me for the poor quality of these images but these photos were taken 3+ years ago and with a point and shoot camera, before I knew what I was doing with low light photography and editing and all that fun stuff.  None the less, they are still good pictures to fit the WordPress Weekly Photo Challenge.

The image of the fireworks I took our first 4th of July here in Tennessee.  Every year they have a huge fireworks show at the lake down the street and our front porch is the perfect place to enjoy the beautiful display without dealing with all the people.

The images of the hot air balloons were taken only three months later during my first semester at school, they have not had the Hot Air Balloon Festival since and I am so glad I went and didn’t miss out on such a wonderful event!

  3. Hi Stephanie,
Thanks for the follow. I look forward to following your blog as well. I used to go to the storytelling festivals in Jonesbrough, TN. and always swung by Cade’s Cove for some beautiful autumn photos. What a beautiful locale!

  8. Beautiful set..These photos shows that you have “the eye” and the talent for photography way back then. Just goes to show that even an old point and shoot camera at the right hands can capture great images…
