Just a Few
I spent the past few days editing the band promo photos for Annandale and I am finally done. I am very happy with how they turned out, I hope they like them as much as I do. I am excited to see where this band will go, they are super nice folks with a lot of talent! Click on the link and LIKE them on Facebook. These photos are just a taste of some of the photos I did for them.

These are great! I’ve been dreaming of doing photography for bands for albums and such for several years; but I don’t know any bands! I always thought it would be fun!
This was my second band session, the first one was for my husbands band many years ago, before I knew what i was doing with a camera LOL. I had a blast shooting this band! It’s certainly one of the areas of photography I want to get into.
You are so kicking ass with these! (can I say that on a family show?
)
I love Ashley’s eyes in the one where Chad is looking down/pulling his hat down. So piercing! And your pp skills are showing too!
Thank you! I think that photo has won the title of my favorite photo made to date. I can’t get enough of it!! Can I pat myself on the back?
With both hands!
While I’ve got you here, have you ever looked into 500px? The photography is amazing and covers the gamut from fine art nudes to nature and landscape. I regularly look through the “Fresh” photos for inspiration. You should check it out, uploaded photos kick the crap out of FB for quality. Plus, since we’re stalking each other across social media, it’s another place we can follow each other
Here’s me, http://500px.com/jsinon Best of all, it’s free. You can pay if you want to sell your photos, but I think it’s only like $50 or so for a year.
I have tried 500x, I just never really kept up with it. Maybe I will try it again. I’ll see ya over there lol
Stalker!
Ok, well, I had a 500x account, but I can’t find it so I made a new one…
LOL It’s easy to do when you give out your link
As much as I never thought it would happen, I’ve become a master at shameless self promotion.
I don’t blame you, if you want to be known, you have to make yourself known! Through this blog someone from Ireland contacted me about using one of my photos. Crazy stuff I tell ya! I am learning that internet presence is super important!
It’s the only reason I’m here! I started out with my blog, FB fan page, twitter, because based on all the pros I admire and who have been a source of inspiration over the last 4 1/2 years, “social media” is where it’s at.
And who knew that I’d ever start to get noticed, let alone get to the point where people are actually asking for my help? I seriously can’t believe it. I literally picked up photography as a hobby 4 years ago this past April. Never in a million years would I have guessed that I’d have a blog, a website, a fan page. In fact, up to that point I would have thought you needed your head examined for even suggesting it.
An now other photographers are asking ME for help and advice! I can’t wrap my head around that one
What I’m completely surprised by is how much I get out of helping them. Though I’m still afraid to offer my help unless asked, at the risk of coming across like some internet know-it-all blow hard.
The helping has become a great source of satisfaction.
These are beautiful photos!
Thank you.
Oh, I can’t get enough of these photos. They are superb.
