Weekly Photo Challenge: Near and Far

WordPress holds a weekly photo challenge and I thought it would be fun to try one out. This week’s challenge is Near and Far and I chose this particular photo because of the depth, from the fence posts and trees to the mountains and the beautiful sky. It’s almost as if you can step right into the picture and enjoy and wonderful afternoon in the Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. I hope you enjoy this photo as much as I do.

It’s a lovely picture! It’s really amazing. I like the use of depth of field here – the fence isn’t as sharp as the grass in the middle, trees and clouds in the background. Did you use any filters while taking this picture?
Thank you! I didn’t use any filters, just a little post processing in photoshop.
It’s a nice work anyway
nice picture
Thank you
Welcome to the weekly challenge! That photo just goes to show that people aren’t the only thing you photograph well! Love it!
Thanks
I figured I needed to keep my blog going while I wait on my camera so I don’t get out of the habit of posting. But good news I get my camera on FRIDAY! YAY!
It has been the longest few weeks of my life!
This next week is going to be the longest week ever
Hopefully we’ll see you around the challenge more even after the new camera arrives.
Absolutely! I think it will be a nice way to think creatively and change things up a bit.
Beautiful picture. Loved how you processed it. Great work.
Thank you very much Arindam!
